"A good pub has much in common with a church, but it is warmer and the conversation livelier" - William Blake, British painter, engraver and poet, 1757-1827
The pub is much more than a simple drinking establishment where you can also eat: it is a cornerstone of British society.
Whether its decor is rustic, traditional or modern, the pub is an institution that British life revolves around—it is a meeting place and a rallying point. It’s an essential part of any neighbourhood or workplace, popular for its atmosphere, its offerings or simply for the people who frequent it.
In Last Orders, you take on the role of a pub manager who listens to their customers tell them about their lives. Roll the dice and write their stories, using narrative hooks, with no time constraints. As you tell your stories, create the ecosystem that surrounds your establishment, between passing customers, regulars and the events that punctuate your work days.
Imagine and bring to life your pub for moments and slices of typically British life in the warmest possible setting.
